Myojo is another tried and trusted older variety that is easy to grow and reliable. A mass display of large 12.0cm to 16.0cm, single violet-purple flowers with a darker bar and a stunning central boss of golden anthers over two waves from late-spring to early-autumn. A compact variety growing to 2.0m to 2.5m it is perfect for smaller gardens and containers.

Raised by Seijuro Arai of Japan and introduced in 1986, it was named after the bright planet Venus.
