Flowering over a long period this compact, non-vining clematis will boast an eye-catching display of smaller nodding, bell-shaped, shiny purple flowers around 5.0cm long with a contrasting array of sunny-yellow anthers. Flowering is followed by a display of feathery silver seed heads which further extends the period of interest. Growing 1.8m to 2.4m in height it is ideal for containers and smaller gardens.
