An amazing display of fully double or semi-double, large 15.0cm to 20.0cm, silvery lilac-mauve flowers from late-spring to early-summer filled by a second wave of single blooms from late-summer to early-autumn.  Growing 2.5m to 3.0m in height it will make a truly spectacular addition to any landscape.

Raised by Walter Pennell of the UK around 1954 and named around 1959 after his wife. Recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society 'Award of Garden Merit'.
