One of the darkest clematis available, Romantika is covered in large 7.0cm to 12.0cm, deep reddish-purple flowers with a velvety sheen that are almost black when first open. Flowering from mid-summer to early-autumn this award winning clematis contrast wonderfully against a light background.

Raised by Uno Kivistik of Estonia in 1983 it was the winner of the Btish Clematis Society ' Certificate of Merit' in 1998.
