This lovely variety from the Vitecella group will reward the gardener with a profusion of stunning, carmine-red, semi-nodding flowers from mid-summer to early autumn. The flowers have an attractive, textured surface with ruffled margins and the stamens have lime green filaments merging to dark-red at the tips of the anthers. Originally raised by Magnus Johnson of Sweden in 1952, it has become a popular choice for gardeners around the world.
