A compact, early large-flowered clematis which is covered in a profusion of impressively large blue flowers up to 20cm across. Flowering in two waves with the first in late-spring to early-summer followed by a second flush from late-summer to early-autumn. The flowers are followed by ornamental golden fluffy seed heads. A shade-tolerant variety this compact clematis is ideal for small gardens and looks fantastic in containers or when combined with small shrubs.
