This classic older variety will make a standout feature in any garden. Growing up to 3.0m tall and producing a profusion of 12.5cm, blue-purple blooms with a contrasting tuft of greenish-yellow anthers.

A hybrid of 'Beauty of Worcester' and 'Otto Froebel' it was introduced by George Jackman and Son in 1906 and listed in 1912.
