Bright pink outward facing trumpet-shaped flowers with cream-yellow or bright yellow stamens. Formerly Clematis texensis 'The Princess of Wales' but re-named in 1996 at the suggestion of Wim Snoejier to avoid further confusion between this variety and the old Jackman cultivar, 'Princess of Wales'.

Raised by Barry Fretwell of the United Kingdom and introduced in 1984
