A bright and cheery clematis with 10.0 to 15.0cm, white flowers that have a green bar that fades with maturity and dark brown or purple-red anthers. Edith has an extended flowering period coming in two waves from late spring through to autumn. Edith was named after the breeders mother.

Raised and introduced by Raymond Evison of the United Kingdom in 1974, Edith received the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society 'Award of Garden Merit' for its outstanding qualities.
