A strong performer bred in Poland with a vivid display of 8.0 to 15.0cm, blue-violet flowers with darker veins and bar and cream or green-yellow anthers on white filaments. The name commemorates Emilia Plater, a brave officer who, at the age of 25, was killed during the Polish November Uprising (1830-1831) against Russian occupation. She is recognized as the symbol of Polish women fighting for their country's independence.
