An easy care clematis with a difference and one of the first to bloom in spring. A display of masses of  5cm, nodding bell-shaped, mid-blue flowers with white staminodes, the outer ones tipped blue from summer through autumn. The flowers contrast nicely with the mid-green foliage and are followed by ornamental, silvery fluffy seed heads.
