A charming older variety with 5-7cm, white or creamy-white flowers edged in pale purple-pink or pale mauve with pale yellow-green anthers on a medium sized vine.

Obtained from Francisque Morel of France by William Robinson of the United Kingdom in 1915 and named after the wife of Ernest Markham, Robinson's head gardener.
