An award winning variety creating a brilliant display of rounded white flowers with a faint pink flush on opening, but becoming pure white with age and a tuft of pale yellow anthers.

Raised by Auguste Boisselot of France in 1885 and introduced in 1890 it has received the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society 'Award of Garden Merit' for its outstanding qualities.
